Ms. Cerrina Charis is the visionary Founder of Alai Foundation, driven by the belief that education has the power to transform lives. Through the foundation, she ensures that children in need can learn, grow, feel empowered, and confidently embrace school-going. A POSH Facilitator and Fabric Alchemist, she channels creativity with purpose through her brand Cerra.

A celebrated Tamil writer and journalist, Yuvarajan has been a pillar of the Alai family since its inception. His deep love for children drives him to visit them daily, where he cultivates a joy for reading and broadens their horizons through books.

A passionate science enthusiast and educator, Harikumar joined Alai in 2021. Together with his friends Shankar, Arun Prasad, and Adhithya, he spearheaded evening tuitions for the kids. Though now based in Germany, he continues to support the foundation's administrative success remotely.

A dynamic IT professional from Bangalore, Esther is a cornerstone of Alai's management. Working closely with the founder, she drives organizational strategy, digital marketing, and event planning with unwavering dedication.

A pillar of Alai since 2022, Shankar brings scientific precision and deep compassion to our mission. A Scientific Officer at NPCIL Kudankulam, he has been an invaluable mentor, teaching Mathematics to our high schoolers and sharing his passion for logic through Rubik’s Cube workshops.
