Founded in 2016 near Kalpakkam, Alai Foundation began with a simple yet powerful mission: to provide evening tutoring for children from the fisherman community. Since formalizing our journey in 2017, we have expanded our embrace to include the Irular tribal community, dedicating ourselves to those who need it most.
We believe deeply in the philosophy of "unlearning limitations to relearn possibilities." Education is not just about textbooks; it is the most powerful weapon to change the world. Our goal is to arm these children with knowledge, critical thinking, and the essential tools they need to break cycles and explore new horizons.
